Kenneth also had a successful stage career, including roles in the Royal National Theatre's Guys And Dolls and West End hit My Night With Reg.

In Only Fools and Horses Ken was the landlord of Delboy`s local public house, The Nag's Head.

Kenneth sadly died of a heart attack aged 50 on 5th August 2001.
